[REVIEW] X2 Secret Diary Softlenses—Creamy Grey

Heyhoo! Second review here *yay*! So, today, 27-10-15 Imma talk about the new soft lenses that I just bought, which comes from the brand X2. First of all, this range of soft lenses is a new model from the well-known soft lenses industry, X2, called ‘Secret Diary’. Secret Diary was launched not so long ago. There are 9 colours available, and the best feature from this range *according to me* is the 1 year use of it. I just won some money from winning a competition so I decided to invest my money on soft lenses because I needed them and also due to the fact that I disposed my previous set.

I went to an optic and well, actually I didn’t intend buying the Secret Diary soft lenses cause I was so interested in buying a set from the ‘X2 BIO Four’ which has a combination of 4 fusion pigments, unfortunately when I told the person in the optic, she was kinda puzzled and she thought that I was referring to the ordinary ‘X2 BIO’, which is a range that came before the X2 BIO Four. Then I thought to myself, “well, I gotta buy something”. So I asked if I can order the Secret Diary set instead, and fortunately, she said yes. Because I’m minus one point something *not sure lol*, I ordered the -1.25 instead because that’s the same number as my previous soft lenses and I didn't want to harm my eyes (more) by ordering a digit higher than that, and the woman said that they’ll deliver it to me the next day *aw*. I wanted to buy something greyish or blue cause I wanted to bring out the inner ‘bule’ inside of me (bule means foreigner in Indonesia, and since I’m part British, I wanted to look a bit more Western rather than Asian). In the Secret Diary range itself, there are four different types of grey, YES PEOPLE, FOUR- -FOUR! There’s the ordinary Grey, Light Grey, Sugar Grey, and the Creamy Grey. I actually like the Sugar Grey cause it’s kind of a combination between blue and grey. Sadly, when my product arrived, they gave me the Creamy Grey instead. But I didn't bother complaining, I could buy other colours in another chance.

So the packaging is super sweet! It does, indeed, look like a diary. They nailed the super duper cute packaging! And when you open the “diary”, BAM! There’s your pair of soft lenses.

TBH, I’ve never bought a set of soft lenses from the glass-bottle-type (I dunno what it’s called), usually when I buy a set of soft lenses, they’ll come in a sealed plastic thingy (once again, not good in describing). Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I paid IDR 150.000 for these babes. Expensive? I don’t think so, cause they last up to a year (with great care ofc), it is certified by the KEMENKES RI, produced and made in Korea through the Eyes Spice Pte., Ltd., in Singapore, and it deffo looks cute on the eyes! The diameter of this product is 14.5mm. If you’re going for an Asian look, go ahead and buy large diameters soft lenses for the dolly-look, but if you’re going for a natural look, soft lenses around 14-15mm would do great.

Even though it looks like there’s a difference between the left and right eye, I swear to you it’s because of my camera lens *LOL*, I didn’t clean it before I took some pictures and I just realised it when I wrote this review.

Overall, I think this is such a great product. It looks soooo natural on my eyes and it gives me that ‘bule’ look which I desire. Satisfaction rate: 90%. I might buy another set of softens in the next month or two, so stay updated and don’t miss my next product reviews!
