♡Moving to Hong Kong!♡

Hello! Alrighteyyy where should I start.. Okay first off, let me apologise for being inactive since October 2015 OMG. I know its been a loooong loooong time (and apparently I've only managed to post 3 posts so far yikes). Things have been a rocky road for me, so I had to take a break and focus on things that are really important and urgent to me. But yeah, I'm back again! More spirit-ful than ever! Secondly, I looked at my page views status and HOLY CRAP I have 2859 page views in total! And while it may not seem like a huge number for other people, it is indeed a huge number for me considering I only have 3 posts.  So I'd like to thank all of you for taking a peep on reading my reviews (and perhaps that one poet I wrote), I hope my reviews would be useful for my readers as other's posts have been useful to me *insert heart emoji*. I promise you there is more reviews to come because..... I MOVED TO HONG KONG! *dances around in undies* Haha so yeah, the end of 2015 was kinda hard for me, I was in a bit of stressed and I just needed a getaway. Incase you don't know, my mum is Indonesian and my dad is English. My dad lives and works here in HK with my grandma, and he rarely visits Indonesia due to his work. On the other hand, I was also born in Hong Kong (because my dad was working here so my family did live here til I was 6 yo), which makes me a permanent resident and is eligible to live, study, and work here. So, long story short, my dad offered me the opportunity to continue my adventure back here in the country where I was born. Of course it was VERY hard, I repeat, VERY hard to leave my family and friends, but I convinced myself that this is for the better (after tubs of tears). I've left most of the past behind now, and I'm looking forward to another journey, and to discover what this country has to offer. So I moved here on January, starting the year with a fresh and new environment. And oh boy lemme tell you how relieved I am to come back to my birth land. Not much that I remember, but I do know that these tall skyscrapers and convenient transportations do amuse me. I mean, it is very different from the environment that I'm used to in Indonesia. Not many people here have their own private vehicles such as cars and motorbikes, first of all, it is unnecessary because the public transportations here are so convenient (read: busses, taxis, minibuses, trams, MTR, ferries), and secondly, I suppose private vehicles are meant for the rich here cause lets just be honest, the taxes and bills would cost a fortune. Also, I have been enjoying journeys across the sea because there are so many small islands here, and it only takes 15 mins to an hour ride on the ferry! (Its like going from Malang to Batu). But there are somethings that bother me too, for instance, back in Indonesia I loved visiting new cafes or restaurants because I am an ultimate foodie (like no joke, foods before dudes), especially because in Malang (where I lived), many cafes targeted youngsters either in their teens or campus kids, so the prices were relatively cheap (harga kantong lah), but here in HK everything is so expensive ;-; (cries internally). I mean, I went out with my friend to a Chinese fast food place and I ordered chicken in blackpepper sauce with rice, accompanied by some other side dishes and it costs $40 (HK Dollars), you can work it out how much it'll be in IDR. I mean, back in Malang I could've bought 2 meals with that amount of money. Luckily, she was paying (LOL). But again, the price is probably fixed with HK civilian's income and spendings on a daily basis. But for me, because I've been living in Indonesia for so long, l consider those kind of things expensive. But one thing that I love the most here is how easy it is to find a lot of variety of beauty and makeup products! I mean, I've never seen an Etude House shop before (I've seen little counters tho), which has all their products from A to Z! Not only that, there's also The Face Shop, Aritaum, and so on so on. And these "booming" products are available all over the place. HK's Watson's also is a very convenient shop if I need to get my hands on Korean face masks ASAP (compared to the Indomaret near where I used to live which only sells Garnier's face mask). Another thing is, I've been so in love with H&M lately because their products are super affordable! (who would've thought!). I've also stumbled upon a few interesting and unique people here who won't hesitate to share their journey and life story with me. So far, everybody has been nice *inserts heart emoji again*.  So yes, the conclusion is I would be reviewing a few rather interesting products here *yay*, and I was thinking maybe I should do a video on YouTube for Hong Kong beauty/makeup haul. Hopefully. Anyway, the picture above is taken from the island where I live, Cheung Chau Island, with a seaside view and a couple of beaches (yassss bich), I am clearly obsessed with the sea now! If you're interested to see more pictures of Hong Kong, add me on snapchat (nadhiarobyns) and instagram (@nadhiarobyns) because I occasionally take snaps of the places I have visited.
